Montavon’s Marathon: Day 2

Today, we cross county lines! We are kicking things off at 8:00 AM in Sabal Springs and heading north along the Tamiami Trail. We will be exploring our beautiful local environment, discussing conservation and community issues, and hosting public gatherings along the way.

Day 2 Route & Highlights:

  • 8:00 AM Kickoff: Sabal Springs

  • Morning Trail Stop: Prairie Pines Preserve, 18400 N Tamiami Trail N, Fort Myers, FL 33903

  • Midday: Bagged lunch meet-up with the campaign team

  • Main Afternoon Event: Charlotte Flatwoods Environmental Park, 15801 S Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda, FL 33955

  • Evening Wrap-Up: Post-walk pizza and conversation with Matthew
