From his 27 years of public service with the United Nations fighting hunger to his volunteer work right here in Southwest Florida with Habitat for Humanity and AARP Tax-Aide, Matthew has dedicated his life to community development, fiscal accountability, and public service. Now, he's bringing that global experience and common ground perspective straight to your neighborhood.

Day 1 kicks off in Fort Myers! We are starting the morning at 8:00 AM at Panera Bread (5037 S. Cleveland Ave) and making our way through the heart of the community.
Along the route, Matthew will be making pit stops at local landmarks, historic community pillars, and public forums to listen to your concerns, share his vision, and earn your vote.

Today, we cross county lines! We are kicking things off at 8:00 AM in Sabal Springs and heading north along the Tamiami Trail.
We will be exploring our beautiful local environment, discussing conservation and community issues, and hosting public gatherings along the way.

Today, we are continuing our trek deeper into Charlotte County. We are starting the morning at 8:00 AM at Charlotte Flatwoods Environmental Park and making our way up the Tamiami Trail corridor through Punta Gorda and into Port Charlotte.
We will be making stops at beloved local business landmarks to talk with residents, support local business owners, and hear about the issues impacting your daily lives.

We are lacing up our sneakers at 8:00 AM sharp, starting from Pioneers Pizza in Port Charlotte.
From there, we are heading toward local parks and neighborhood favorites, making our way up to the edge of Sarasota County.
It is going to be a fantastic day of community conversation, outdoor recreation, and local food.

Our morning begins at 8:00 AM sharp at Bocca Lupo Coal Fired Pizza in North Port. From there, we are hitting the pavement and heading northwest along the Tamiami Trail corridor into Venice.
Today’s route features beautiful waterfront public spaces and essential community hubs where we will be discussing local conservation, infrastructure, and community services.

Our morning begins at 8:00 AM sharp at the Jacaranda Library in Venice. F
rom there, we are walking through the historic heart of Venice, stopping at beautiful neighborhood parks, and making our way up toward Nokomis.
Today's route is a perfect mix of community hubs, green spaces, and local waterfront business staples.

From there, we are heading north up the Tamiami Trail corridor, trekking through the beautiful trails of Osprey, and heading into South Sarasota.
Today's route features world-class natural parklands and neighborhood staple venues perfect for lively community discussion.

Day 8 takes us right through the heart of Sarasota, focusing on supporting our fantastic local culinary staples, neighborhood markets, and coastal business corridors.
It is the perfect opportunity to discuss the local economy, small business growth, and community infrastructure.

Our morning begins at 8:00 AM sharp at Stokes Seafood. From there, we are heading north up the Sarasota coast, focusing our walk on higher education, the future of our workforce, and our local students.
Our final destination for the day is the historic campus of New College of Florida, a cornerstone of our community's educational landscape.
